Hey Everyone,

Rugby’s on.  We had a decent amount of confirmed responses and experience says we’ll have numbers given that many typically stay quiet until a final decision is made to play or not.

The rain doesn’t seem to be an issue.  It’ll just be a little cold, windy, and soggy.

Unfortunately, I won’t be out this morning.  I’m feeling sick and crappy.  Weep for me…

I’m going throw up surveys every now and again given the touch-and-go weather of the season and some drop-off in participation, particularly on Wednesdays–this past Wednesday an especially disappointing example.

That said, respond to this post if you’re in for rugby tomorrow, weather permitting.  It’s obviously rainy today but the weather is supposed to be better, albeit not ideal, tomorrow.

Rugby’s on for 6:00 (or earlier if you can make it) at 15th and Independence.  Last few weeks of Wednesday rugby left.  Make the most of it.

A reminder that Wednesday rugby is still on.  We’ve got four good weeks of rugby to be played before daylight saving time kicks in.  Unless it rains tomorrow, we’re definitely on.  I’ll send a post if we need to cancel.

It’s official.  Saturday rugby is on at 9:30 a.m.  There’s been some confusion about time so I’m reminding everyone when we play.  When winter comes, we may push to 10:00 a.m. as we have in the past.

It’s super nice out.  And the Pope is in town.  Two good reasons to play Wednesday rugby.  There’s a chance the Mall might be swarming with security, though.  No way to know than to go.  My guess is things are probably okay–everything Pope related was this morning, I believe.  There’s some chance things will be locked down, but odds are it’ll be okay.

Rugby’s at the Wednesday field at 15th and Independence.  If softball is over, we’ll start playing at our traditional spot on 17th and Constitution next week.

Looks like it is going to be a beautiful day out there today. Lets make the most of it by getting out there for a bit of touch!

Hey Guys,

Despite the rain, rugby’s on.  The weather radar is showing moderate rain at worst, and temperatures are still warm.  Obviously, conditions won’t be great, but we’ve played in worse.  Bring an umbrella.

Forgot to mention a time.  Touch is on for 6.

My apologies for the erratic communication.  I felt compelled to post the last few weeks regarding Wednesday rugby because numbers had been iffy, and we were switching fields.

From now on, though, assume rugby’s on for Wednesdays and Saturdays unless I post otherwise.  Communication may change in the Fall, but I’ll alert everyone first if I do so.
