Hey guys,
Let’s meet at the 25th and N field at 6:00. If you can make it at 5:30, all the better. I’ll be there then. The days are getting shorter so let’s try to get in as much rugby at possible.

Hey guys,
Let me know if you’re in for rugby tomorrow. Weather’s s’posed to be pretty good, not that that’s stopped us lately…
Be there at 10AM and prepare to get wet.
Team, DC Touch Rugby government shutdown edition continues this weekend. Let’s meet for our usual 10AM game but at the field used on Wednesday: 25th and N Street NW.
Forecast is for a bit of light rain. Keep an eye on the blog, if it gets too soggy, we might have to cancel, but fingers crossed the weather will hold up. So with that, let us know if you’re in!
Hey guys,
We’re still on if you can make it. The weather’a shit but not unplayable. Hope to see y’all out there!
We’ve got numbers. See everyone at 6. Hopefully it doesn’t rain!
Hey guys,
Thanks for the suggestions regarding new fields. The one in Arlington and the one on Waterfront seem promising. Let’s try the one on 25th and N this week though. It’s nice, relatively convenient, and is connected to a middle school so we should have no trouble with “authorities” booting us off. If we can’t play there, we’ll shoot for the Waterfront or Arlington on Saturday.
That said, you all know the drill. Who’s in for today?
Hey guys,
I’ve done a bit of research for a playing field but nothing seems ideal. Our best bet I think is a field on 25th and N NW. There’s a school there (Francis Steven’s) that has public park facilities (a pool, playground, etc.) There are two relatively sizable fields, one behind the school and the other right next to it. We might be able to play there, but my concern is there might be flag football players or soccer players occupying the spaces around 6. I’ve seen them play there before, but at different times. That said, I still think it’s worth checking out.
Does anyone else have any ideas on where we might be able to play? I’m open to suggestions.
Hey Guys,
A thousand apologies. That was a real Bush-league stuff there. I blame WordPress for no longer sending me blog updates. Anyhow, we’ve got numbers so let’s meet at 10 AM. See everyone tomorrow!
Hey Guys,
Who’s in for touch on Saturday? The Indian Summer continues with temperatures approaching 90 degrees. Let’s get out and play before the sun scorches. Start time will be 9 AM.
Also, let’s maintain some continuity with the lessons we learned on Wednesday. Drive the ball up the middle. Swing it wide after a few phases. Keep that defensive line straight!
Perfect those tactics and we’ll be well on our way to winning the 2014 Hong Kong International Touch Rugby Tournament trophy. I swear…
