The rain will be over, but it will remain cloudy and chilly. Your feet will get wet, although this shouldn’t deter anyone from coming out to have a little fun. There is a chance the park rangers will boot us is the field remains too soggy, in which case we will relocate.
Wednesday at the tidal basin pitch 5:30pm (aka Wallenberg field)
Monday touch on the tidal basin 5:30pm
We’ll probably bounce back and forth between the tidal basin during the weeknights and the JFK hockey fields on Saturdays. The hockey fields can accomodate more pitches, which is nice with the number of people on the weekend. Tidal basin is still more convenient, so we’ll try to stick with that for Mondays and Wednesdays.
Saturday JFK hockey fields
mea culpa. I forgot to put the update last night. But just in case anyone is looking for us JFK is the spot
Wednesday 4/19 touch is on the Tidal Basin 5:30pm
Thanks to some helpful reconnaissance, it looks like the Wallenberg field is back open. It doesn’t appear there are any competing reservations, but there is no guarantee Volo or another group won’t already be camped out. We’ll give it a shot, but be aware there could be last minute shift to JFK or another field.
Otherwise great weather for some after work touch!
Monday (4/17) touch is on JFK hockey fields at 5:30pm
Beautiful spring weather. Come run. Have fun.
Saturday touch is on JFK hockey fields 9:30am
About 30% chance of rain, but around 72F would make it entirely bearable if there were any showers. Come get your run in and start the weekend right.
Wednesday touch 5:30pm at JFK hockey fields
A taste of summer with 82F temps this evening. If you’re looking for some great after work exercise, this is it. We’ve had great turnout of all skill levels making for some fun and fast paced touch rugby. Should be more of the same today
Monday touch is on JFK hockey fields 5:30pm
Should be nice spring weather this evening. We’ve had lots of great turnout during the week as well as on Saturday. Come on out and get your fix of competitive fun touch rugby.
Saturday 4/8 touch is on the JFK hockey fields 9:30am
It will be a little chilly in the morning, just when we were getting a taste of summer. It’s great to see lots of new faces out over the last couple weeks. This is a great group and tomorrow should be another great day on the pitch.
