Morning Rugby?

Have you been wishing that you could get in a bit of touch rugby on a weekday morning? Do you think that one of the best ways to get in a bit of fitness and hardly realize you’re doing it is through a good bit of touch rugby?

Then you might be in luck. We are tentatively considering starting up some morning rugby. First we would like to check on interest level and see how many people would be willing to actually show up at 6:30 or 7:00 am and play for about an hour. Tuesdays and Fridays have been suggested but if anyone has a really good rationale for a different morning we are definitely interested in hearing it.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED: please comment on this post. From your comment we will compile a list of people who are interested in morning touch and use an email chain or a text group as the main means of communication. Also in your comment please indicate if you are up for one morning a week or two and which day/s you prefer.

If there is enough interest we are looking to start this Friday, April 29th.

  1. In for this Friday!

Tuesday / Friday sounds good (can’t promise I’ll be there every morning, so it’d be nice to have a count the night before to be sure we’ll have numbers). 7 AM sounds realistic.

    Best, Juan

  2. Sounds like a great idea!
We will have to see if I actually show up…
I won’t be there the 29th as I am out of town

  3. Tuesdays and Fridays at 7am work for me, I’ll be there whenever I am in town. I’ll be there this Friday for sure.

If you guys know people that would be interested but don’t check the website, shoot them a text and tell them to log on and reply so we get good numbers.

    Thanks for organizing!

  4. I’m definitely interested. I think an hour-long session that starts (promptly) at 7am and ends at 8am could work.

  5. Def would make Tuesday’s, hit or miss on Fridays. This is glorious, I can almost never make Saturdays! Is Malcolm X Park/Meridian Hill too far north?

    Damian
