So it’s still the plan to head to watch the Ireland vs. England 6 Nations game this Saturday @11:45am, HOWEVER, I need your opinion below on where we should go….
- I emailed James Hoban’s and they do actually have a $20 minimum to watch the game there. You pay $20 at the door but that goes towards all the food and drinks you may get while you’re there.
- ALTERNATIVE: Duffy’s Irish Pub on H street has no cover (confirmed via email) & has discounted food & drinks, but is a bit further away.
Neither are within walking distance so regardless of the decision we would need to get there through a combo of driving/Ubers/metro, depending on your preference.

We’re a go for tomorrow at our spot from last week (where we played at the beginning of last year, meeting by the trees), 9:30am.
ALSO! The European 6 Nations international tournament kicks off next week. A few people are interested in watching Ireland vs. England next Saturday, 11:45am kick off EST. Plan is to start earlier next week so anyone interested can get a good run in before we head straight to watch the game at James Hoban’s in DuPont Circle (no cover).
I’ll post a reminder, time, etc., next week.
Sorry, but it’s actually going to be way too cold to play! There’s even a windchill warning until 11am. But see you Saturday.
I’m back b***hes!!!
With the new year I bring you an updated photo page… you’re welcome ;D
Looking forward to playing Saturday – I’ll post on Friday with time/place/weather conditions.
I’m heading to the Emerald Isle tomorrow afternoon, but I’d love to get another touch in before I leave! Let’s meet at 9am, by the Washington Monument (see pic below).
Supposed to be a sunny morning!

Unless anything changes, let’s meet at the Tidal Basin pitch @ 3pm today for a run around – most likely my last touch of 2019!
