Heavy rain and thunderstorms expected in our exact touch window of 5-7pm. Tough call because it is reasonably warm and not much wind associated with the storm, but all the reputable weather outlets gove about 90% chance of a downpour. For safety and comfort we’ll play another day.

National parks service has unexpectedly been closing off fields for maintenance despite existing reservations, which has thrown a wrench in our usually well organized (?) operation. Thanks for the flexibility. We’ll be between the Washington monument and WW2 memorial today.
