Spectacular weather to get out for some touch. Unfortunately, we don’t have a lot of daylight to take advantage of it today. Try to come out and warm up early so we can get started on time.

There’s a pickleball event going on, but we’ll have space toward the lincoln memorial end. Weather will be a little chilly and overcast, but no rain in the forecast

Decent weather today after a rainy weekend. Come have a run. Arrive early to stretch and warm up. Sun sets at 7, so we want to get as much field time as possible.

We’re going to start seeing the effects of tropical storm Ophelia this evening. The morning will be worse with moderate rain volume, chilly temps, and 15-20mph winds. Might be all hype, but either way it won’t be a good day to be trying to play touch.

I guess you’ll all have to sleep in and watch RWC all day.

After an overnight rain shower, the weather has settled into a cool, partly cloudy day. This is a reminder that winter is on it’s way with shorter days. Try to get to the fields early to do your stretching, putting on cleats, having a cup of tea or whatever it takes to be ready to run at 5:30. In order to squeeze as much play time as possible, we need to try to get started right away.

Lots of new faces out. DC touch is all about having fun and enjoying the game, so it’s great to have people join at any skill level. And it’s always great to play with all the regulars and returning friends. Tomorrow should be a fantastic fall day. Come get your run in.
