There is a touch tournament this Sunday at Gonzaga High School called Sully’s 7’s that would be great for DC Touch to join. We haven’t participated in any tournaments this year, and I’m sure there are many of you eager to face strong competition. There are 11 other teams signed up, including Galaxy and Irish (I believe), so you can expect some quality play.
I wont’ be able to attend so someone else will have to take the lead on the effort. Let me know if you’re interested in playing, and among those interested, let me know if you would be willing to lead. I can share details for contacting the administrator of the tournament to get a group registered. Participants can take it from there.

Rugby’s on at 17th and Constitution this evening at 6:00. Until the other field on 15th and Independence is repaired and open for play (probably near the end of summer), we’ll be at 17th and Constitution.

We’re switching fields today since the usual field is closed for improvement. Instead, we’ll play at our old spot on 17th and Constitution.

We decided on Saturday that there will be no more rugby posts for the Summer. Rest assured that rugby will be on each Wednesday, at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday at 9:30 a.m. always at 15th and Independence. If plans change because of weather, or we need to change fields, I’ll post to let everyone know. Otherwise, you can count on playing rugby. And yes, that includes this evening.
Ummm, also, did anyone happen to find an extra pair of cleats on Saturday?? Copa Mundials in particular?? I seem to have misplaced my pair…
