Heavy rain and thunderstorms expected in our exact touch window of 5-7pm. Tough call because it is reasonably warm and not much wind associated with the storm, but all the reputable weather outlets gove about 90% chance of a downpour. For safety and comfort we’ll play another day.
National parks service has unexpectedly been closing off fields for maintenance despite existing reservations, which has thrown a wrench in our usually well organized (?) operation. Thanks for the flexibility. We’ll be between the Washington monument and WW2 memorial today.

The JFK fields were unexpectedly closed for maintenance. Because field bookings are done a month ahead, most of the other fields appear booked already. There are some options that we’re scouting as alternatives, but won’t know for sure until later. Will still be downtown on or around the mall.
