Hey Guys,

Despite the rain, rugby’s on.  The weather radar is showing moderate rain at worst, and temperatures are still warm.  Obviously, conditions won’t be great, but we’ve played in worse.  Bring an umbrella.

Forgot to mention a time.  Touch is on for 6.

My apologies for the erratic communication.  I felt compelled to post the last few weeks regarding Wednesday rugby because numbers had been iffy, and we were switching fields.

From now on, though, assume rugby’s on for Wednesdays and Saturdays unless I post otherwise.  Communication may change in the Fall, but I’ll alert everyone first if I do so.

Wednesday’s (including tonight) we’re at 15th and Independence behind the Forestry Service Building, and Holocaust Museum.

Usual place.  Usual time.  Just a reminder.

Rugby’s on for 6:00 PM.

Remember, we’re at the new pitch on 15th and Independence.  Some softball folks play there too, but there’s enough space for us there as well toward the goal posts on the southern end of the field.

We have just enough to play according to the responses to yesterday’s post.  I’m sure more will attend that didn’t respond.

The new field, for those of you who are unfamiliar, is located at 15th (Raoul Wallenburg Place) and Independence.  It’s right behind the Holocaust Museum and the US Forest Service Building.

The new field seems like a good fit.  Numbers have been a little low though, so I’m going to start surveying for Wednesday rugby for the remainder of the season.

If you’re in for tomorrow, respond to this post to let me know.  If we get numbers, rugby’s on.  If not, we’ll postpone until Saturday.

We’re going to try the new field today at 15th and Independence.  We start at 6:00PM, but be patient if it takes a little time for some to arrive given the new location.
