Hey Guys,

Let’s meet at the Saturday field (17th and Constitution).  Let’s get there on time, if not early, so we can secure a spot to play, particularly those with the cones who can set up the field.  The softballers are out in full force so spacing is less generous.  Apparently last week we shared our field with a softball squad–they played more west, by 17th street, while we played more east, closer to the monument.  I don’t see why we can’t replicate that configuration.  As far as I can tell, no one has a permit to reserve the part of the Mall where we play. 

I’ll see you guys at 6:00, or at 5:45…  Bring a ball.  Bring cones.

BTW – Although we just had a deluge, the weather for tomorrow morning is looking good: zero percent chance of rain and 16C. Bonus points for those who can convert that to Fahrenheit…

Who’s in?

Kaitlin and Wences are going to host a BBQ for us ruggers at their place! Here are the deets:

When:                 Saturday June 7, from 1pm onwards. Just show up when you’re ready after rugby!

Where:                Kaitlin and Wences’ place, Hyattsville

Transport:           Their house is about a ten minute walk from the PG metro stop on the green line. It’s pretty quick from downtown DC.

If you’re keen to come along, please reply to this post so they can get a hold of numbers. I’ll get a hold of you via email with the specifics closer to the date.

BONUS: England plays NZ the night before, so hopefully we can get a replay of the game…
