Hey guys,
There’s still lots of snow and ice on the ground so no rugby this Saturday. Hopefully the bad conditions won’t persist and we’ll get to play next weekend.
Hey guys,

Hey Guys,
There looked to be sufficient interest for rugby on Monday so we’re on. It’s going to be warmer, so that’s a plus. Also, we’re set to play at 11:00 AM, instead of 10:00. That extra hour should help with the post Sunday football hangovers… I’ll see everyone out there tomorrow!
Funny stuff I thought you guys would appreciate.
Hey Guys,
We’ve got numbers so I’ll see everyone at the mall at 10 AM tomorrow.
Also, we’ve got a long weekend ahead of us. We typically try to play on holidays, so if people are around let’s look to play on Monday too. We’ll discuss more tomorrow and then I’ll send out a post.
Hey ruggers,
I think we can all agree that last weekend was about as bad as it could get, yet we still played, and played with vigor. This week it’s going to be cold, but dry, which for me at least, couldn’t be a rosier scenario. My guess is you feel the same. Who’s in???
Hey you diehard ruggers,
We’re on for tomorrow. Bring an extra pair of socks because it might get pretty muddy out there. I’ll see everyone at the mall at 10:00 am.
Kira, don’t forget the cones. And whoever’s got Neils ball, bring that.
Hey Guys,
The frigid air and snow are gone. It might be a bit rainy on Saturday, but its doubtful that the weather will be so bad we can’t play. That said, who’s in?
Hey Guys,
I’m going to cancel rugby for tomorrow. We have the minimal amount of numbers, but the snow, as far as I can tell, has turned icy. That will only increase the already decent risk of falls/injury, plus it will be difficult to spot the holes we normally cover up (an issue I’m only realizing now). I want to be out there, but conditions are just a bit too extreme.
Hopefully the weather improves for next week. I know we all want to get out and play.
So the first Saturday in 2014 doesn’t look like it’s going to be the most rugby-friendly day. It’s supposed to be about 29 degrees in the morning, and snow will probably still be on the ground from Friday. In my glory days, snow on the ground meant rugby was mandatory. Now, not so much. I’m old, and so are you. The thought of fierce cold and snow sounds like the opposite of delightful. Still, I ache for rugby, and I know you feel the same. So maybe we should satisfy our yearnings and play despite the crap weather. If you guys are down, I’m there with you. Who’s in?
Sorry guys, haven’t got the numbers! See y’all in the new year!
