You will get wet. Moderate rain predicted, but so far this storm has been showing up less intense than earlier forecasts. Time is pushed back to 10 since that is when the rain should start tapering somewhat. Temps are in the low 60s. Good news, Wallenberg doesn’t appear closed. But someone has the permits for 6pm onward. Plan is to scope out tidal basin aka wallenberg, and if it is taken, then we’ll set up by WW2 memorial. See location in the info section

We’re at the mercy of the park rangers. No permit cancellation yet, but the ground is soggy and there is a chance they’ll kick us off. But for now, bring some dry socks and an extra layer for an evening run. Cool weather, but the rain is over for today.

Weather is mid 70s, a few clouds about. The field is dry. Nobody has a neighboring permit. All around ideal conditions and plenty of space for everyone to run.
