We’ve got the numbers and so do Columbia Touch. Should be a good turn out! See you there tomorrow at 9:30AM!

Need NUMBERS for Saturday
Despite the fact that participation wasn’t explicitly asked for Saturday in the last post, please DO SO! Every game is the same; we need to know if we have the MRP (Minimum Required Players) which is typically 10-12 warm bodies. So without an “in” there is no other way of knowing how many people will show.
Give the organizers of DC Touch Rugby a helping hand and provide us your most prompt “in” in the comments section. This is especially important in this case as we have visitors going out of their way to join us from another state!
DC Touch vs Columbia Touch this Saturday @ 9:30AM
Team, this Saturday we’ll be joined by our friends (and rivals) Columbia Touch Rugby for a friendly match. Let’s put on a show of force and come out with some good numbers this weekend. We’ll start a bit later on Saturday to give the Columbia guys a bit of time to make it down to the Mall (also it will be a little cooler weather).
- Game time: Saturday September 14 @ 10AM (9:30AM warm up/ team organization)
- Place: Same as usual (between Washington Monument and WWII Memorial)
- What to wear: Your blue D.C. Touch Rugby tank top (or blue top if you don’t have one), a second t-shirt/top that is grey (or similar shade) in case we have 2 teams.
- What to bring: Water/gatorade, chairs (if you want to sit between games), sunscreen, your A-game.
Remember this is a social game so all skill levels welcome! See you on the field!

Rugby’s a Go for Today
Hey guys,
Rugby’s on. It’s hot. It’s humid. Stop whining…
See everyone at 15th and Constitution (White House Side) at 6, or earlier if you can make it!
Wednesday rugby, a must!
Hey all,
We haven’t played in a week! I know you’re desperate for swift passes and glory runs, so let’s get some good numbers for tomorrow. There’s an added incentive to show up. This Saturday, our old friends from Maryland (Columbia Rugby) are planning to come down to play a couple of games against us. Naturally, we’ll want to be well-practiced and prepared. A good run on Wednesday will go a long way ensuring we play our best come Saturday. If that’s not reason to show, then I don’t know what is.
Also, if you’re a regular Wednesday player, but don’t show up to Saturdays, no worries. Please come out tomorrow in any case. It’s fun to have a large, diverse crowd of ruggers show up.
Okay, let me know if you’re in, guys.
Rugby’s off…
Hey guys. There was very little interest for rugby tomorrow. Gotta cancel. Hopefully we get numbers for Wednesday.
Saturday touch
Hey guys,
Who’s in for Saturday touch? Going to be a perfect day tomorrow. Don’t waste it.
See you on the field
As is typical for Wednesdays, we’ve got several “ins”. See everyone on the pitch at 6!
Come early if you can to help set up or toss the ball around. The days are getting shorter, which means less rugby time
Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow…
Who’s in for tomorrow (Wednesday)? You should be in because A) we didn’t play on Monday, and B) It’s going to be perfect out. Respond if you’re in!
