Beautiful day for a run if you’re in town for the long weekend

Rain or shine. A little cool, but rain not likely until 8. But be prepared in case it shows up at 7.

The weather shifted and now rain is not likely until 7. Try to be on time and let’s get a run in before the rain arrives

Heavy rain and thunderstorms expected in our exact touch window of 5-7pm. Tough call because it is reasonably warm and not much wind associated with the storm, but all the reputable weather outlets gove about 90% chance of a downpour. For safety and comfort we’ll play another day.

National parks service has unexpectedly been closing off fields for maintenance despite existing reservations, which has thrown a wrench in our usually well organized (?) operation. Thanks for the flexibility. We’ll be between the Washington monument and WW2 memorial today.
