Super cold tomorrow. Let me know if you want to play.

Hey everyone,

According to the forecast we’re in for continued frigid weather.  Tossing the rugby ball might feel like catching a block of ice.  Yet, some of us are crazy brave (or phony tough) and will play despite the utter lack of warmth.  If you fall into either of those camps let me know.  If we get enough people who are in for tomorrow it’ll be game on.

Rugby tomorrow and Six Nations

Hi everyone,

I think the snow on the mall has melted away over this mostly warm week.  That, plus a relatively nice day tomorrow suggests conditions should be suitable for play.  Unless anyone has been down to the Mall and knows that the field is in poor shape, I think it’s safe to say we can play tomorrow

9:30 a.m., 17th and Constitution.

The Six Nations tournament will be broadcast this weekend for those disinclined to play but who still want to enjoy some rugby.  The last few times we’ve gotten together to watch we’ve headed to James Hoban’s in Dupont Circle.  I suggest we continue that recent tradition.  If anyone knows the schedule for tomorrow please respond to this post.

FYI, I won’t be able to attend either.  Expect fewer dropped passes at rugby, and less ill-informed commentary during the tournament.

Who’s in for tomorrow?

Guys,

Not sure how things turned out last week since I had to bail last minute, but hopefully things went well enough.

Tomorrow’s going to be sunny, but muddy given tonight’s expected rainfall.  Still, that shouldn’t be too big of an issue, at least not for ruggers such as yourselves.

Let me know you’re in for tomorrow! 9:30, 17th and Constitution.

Rugby’s on. Gotta give the cones to someone!

Hey Guys,

Rugby’s on for tomorrow.  9:30, 17th and Constitution.  I think the rain should stay away.

I’ve got the cones but unfortunately I can’t make it tomorrow.  I unexpectedly have the responsibility to help a “friend” move.  Is someone free to take the cones from me?  I’d be more than happy to drop them off tonight or early tomorrow morning.  Just let me know by responding to this post and I can email you from there.  Thanks.
