I think we’ll have just enough to play today.  It would have been criminal to cancel given how ideal it is outside.  I’m counting on some individuals showing up who did not respond to the survey, but that typically works out.

With today’s metro shutdown access to rugby may be difficult for many of us.  I’m considering postponing Wednesday rugby until next week.  If there’s sufficient interest I’ll keep it on, though.

Now that the sun’s out later in the evening we can start playing Wednesday rugby again.

I’m not taking a survey for this Wednesday because I think there will be ample interest.  So let’s shoot for 6:00 p.m at the rugby field at Independence and Raoul Wallenberg Pl (formerly 15th street, right behind the Holocaust Museum).  It’s the rugby field we played at on Wednesday’s last year for those who attended.

Rugby’s on tomorrow.  Conditions should be ideal.

Getting to rugby may not be so easy though.  The Rock and Roll Marathon is going on tomorrow so expect metro delays, and traffic re-routing.  I’d suggest riding your bikes if you got them.

We’re on for 9:30 a.m., at 17th and Constitution as always.  Just maybe leave a bit early so we’re not starting at like 10:00 a.m…

I didn’t realize it was going to snow…

Frigid temps plus snow make for an unideal outing in my book, but I recognize some people are into playing rugby in this weather, so I am not cancelling.  I won’t be out there, but more power to those who are willing and eager.

Again, there was decent feedback yesterday so I think people will show up. Just expect numbers to be on the lower end.

Hey everyone,

According to the forecast we’re in for continued frigid weather.  Tossing the rugby ball might feel like catching a block of ice.  Yet, some of us are crazy brave (or phony tough) and will play despite the utter lack of warmth.  If you fall into either of those camps let me know.  If we get enough people who are in for tomorrow it’ll be game on.
