Are we sending a team to next week’s tourney?

Hey Everyone,There was a recent post about a tournament coming up in Maryland next weekend.  Are people interested in playing?  Neither Anthony nor I can make it because we’ll be both be out that weekend, but if someone wants to be captain and get a group together have at it.  I think it would be  a good experience, and who knows, our team might win.  If you’re interest, send a response.  And if someone wants to be captain, just shout out that you want the responsibility.

PS  More tournament details are a few posts below.  Check it out.

The heat (aka Wednesday rugby) is on!

Rugby is on today boys and girls.  Lets meet at 6 where we played last week at the corner of 15th and Constitution in that little nook that the soccer players try to occupy.  We all know it’s going to be a hot one, so I’ll give you the advice my rugby coach used to give me on days like this:  “Stop whining.”

See everyone out there!

Rugby tomorrow?

Who’s in for rugby tomorrow?  It’s going to be a hot one, but we all look so cool compared to the soccer and softball crowd the temperature will drop 10 degrees at least when we’re out there.  Just be sure to bring some water.  And an extra shirt.  It’ll be sweaty…

Just enough for this Wednesday!

Hey Guys,

We’ve got the minimum for a run tomorrow.  Let’s meet at our usual spot at the mall at 6.  If a few of the “maybe’s” show up, we’ll have really good numbers.  See everyone tomorrow!

PS  I haven’t scouted the Mall on Wednesdays, but presumably it’s not filled with the softball crowd.  Keeping my fingers crossed…

Wednesday Rugby?

Hey guys,There’s been a lot of talk about meeting up during the week in addition to our Saturday play.  We’ve played on Thursday’s before but it’s proved to be less than ideal given softball’s dominance at the mall, and Thursday happens to be among the more precious drinking days.  Wednesday seems like a nice alternative.

Are you guys down for rugga rugga on hump day?  Let me know.

FYI, yoga classes are a poor excuse for not attending midweek rugby…

PS  Let’s meet at 6pm

Weekend rugby, anyone?

Hey Guys,

Thought I’d send a blast to see if anyone’s interested to play rugby on Saturday.  It’ll be a good opportunity to re-live last week’s glory.  And, it’ll be a good opportunity to even out your tan.  Skins vs. skins!  Let me know if you’re in.
