Weather looks okay earlier on with chances for rain increasing later in the morning around noon. Let’s shoot for a 9 a.m start at the place we’ve been playing at 17th Street and Constitution Avenue.

Followed by night out in the evening; predrinks from 8pm at Ashan’s place & Haydee’s afterwards (~11pm). All welcome.

It feels like forever since we sang the house down at our last event – time for another go!

Ashan has taken the reins with this one; he has kindly offered to host us at his place for predrinks from 8pm (message/email me for address or ask me in person), and suggested we head to Haydee’s afterwards.

Just wanted to confirm that we will watch the Ireland vs. England game in James Hoban’s in DuPont Circle, despite the $20 charge, by popular vote (democracy, yay!).

Game starts at 11:45am, so if people were able to get there early & save a table that would be great!

For those who want to play beforehand, let’s meet in the same spot as last week, 17th & Constitution, 9am (we’ll play until ~11am). If anything changes I’ll let you know.

So it’s still the plan to head to watch the Ireland vs. England 6 Nations game this Saturday @11:45am, HOWEVER, I need your opinion below on where we should go….

1. I emailed James Hoban’s and they do actually have a $20 minimum to watch the game there. You pay $20 at the door but that goes towards all the food and drinks you may get while you’re there.
2. ALTERNATIVE: Duffy’s Irish Pub on H street has no cover (confirmed via email) & has discounted food & drinks, but is a bit further away.

Neither are within walking distance so regardless of the decision we would need to get there through a combo of driving/Ubers/metro, depending on your preference.
