The jersey company ran out of blue jerseys. I’m going to order red instead. If for some reason you don’t want the red one, let me know and I’ll remove you from the list. I’m going to order tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. so let me know by then. FYI, the logo is going to be redone by the company’s artist. The below is just a mock up.

If you want a jersey (looks like it’s going to be $20) let me know by tonight. Give me your name and size. The jersey is a performance fabric that keeps you cool by dry wicking moisture away from your skin. Here’s a picture below:

Let me know if you’re interested in getting a DC Touch Rugby jersey. They’re perfect for scoring tries on the pitch and for writing memos in the office. Who needs sleeves, amiright? If you want a jersey respond to this post with your name and your size. The price will be $20-$25. I’ll collect money at rugby over the next week or so.
Naturally, if you’re playing in the tournament it would be nice to have a jersey. We would look like a much more cohesive unit with everyone donning the blue and whites. But, it’s not necessary. The most important thing is that you sign up for the August 27th tournament! (See previous post for details.)
UPDATE: TOURNAMENT!
Hello esteemed touch rugby players!
I just wanted to forward along this update to you all so that we can begin the proper registration process for this upcoming touch rugby tournament. There is one major update: registration will now be done individually through the Eventbrite page below. I’ve already registered and it is pretty easy. You simply click on the link below in this post and then once on the page you click on the “Tickets” button.
The tickets (registration) is $7 and then there is a $1.34 processing fee so total cost is $8.34 per person. Remember there is also the option to donate to the Serge Betsen Academy in addition to your registration fee if you would like that option.
Finally, Victor is organizing for our team jerseys and he is planning to send around more information about the cost and process for ordering those soon.
*IMPORTANT*
Once you have completed your registration, please let me know by commenting on here or by sending me an email/text/carrier pigeon so that I can put you on our confirmed team list. Thanks!

Rugby’s on this morning. It’s supposed to start raining around 10:00-10:30. We should be able to get in a good run before the rain starts.
See everyone out there at 9:00. Bring a ball and cones if you got ’em.

Thunderstorms are a decent possibility for tomorrow. I’m going to make a decision around 8:00-8:30 in the morning about whether we’re going to play. Keep on the lookout for a posting.
AND, sign up for the tournament! We’re playing on Saturday Aug 27th in Virginia. You can sign up by responding to Tuesday’s post about the tourney. It’s going to be a good time plus there will be food. Hard to pass up, so don’t!
